Design and Development, all rolled into one.

Here's a showcase of some of the projects I'm working on/have worked on in the past:

MobiTags

The latest research project I've been working on. It's a mobile tagging application for use in the Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University. I was responsible for most of the design and all of the implementation of both the front- and back-ends for this project. It's designed to be used in Mobile Safari on the iPhone or iPod touch, though it also works fairly well in regular Safari (I know it looks bad in Firefox/IE. Limited time + no use for FF/IE = no compatibility). It uses the CiUI library for some of its nice effects, with some modifications. On an iPhone/iTouch, rotating the device sideways switches you to map view.

WikiCandidate '08

I'm responsible for most of the current design of the site. I've also done some of modifications to MediaWiki to make the site more usable. I'm not as actively involved in this project anymore, but still have a role as an on-call developer when needed.

Symptom

The website I developed for my team's game in CIS 300: Intro to Game Design. The frontend could have used more work, but our backend supported a score submission feature that none of the other games had. You can also download the game from the download link.

Cornell Connection

This is the final project for my INFO 230: Intermediate Design and Programming for the Web class. A group of 4 of us developed it with me contributing almost all of the design and about half of the backend. It's a social network site to support entrepreneurs at Cornell along with the eClips website. Though it's not in use, you can access it with the email:password combination bda9@cornell.edu:password.

Kwon's Champion School

This is the final project for my INFO 130: Introductory Design and Programming for the Web class. Since it was an introductory class, I had to teach myself MySQL in 2 days for the project to accommodate our client's requests. I was also responsible for all of the backend of the site (but not the frontend). We also took the opportunity to digitize some of the forms that our client had to streamline some of the processes involved. Unfortunately, after our client took it over, it has not been used and there seems to be a problem with the databases involved.
